Lawn Mowing

Fresh cut grass is one of the best things about summer in Maine. We can keep your lawn looking its best by mowing it. We recommend weekly mowing, depending on how fast your grass grows.

We can mow any size lawn as we have both a push mower and tractor. We also have a mulcher and vacuum attached to our mowers to clean up after. Our mowing services are affordable, starting at around $42 – 84, depending on your lawn size.

Aeration

Your lawn is a living thing that needs to breathe. That is why we recommend aeration, which softens your lawn’s soil by allowing oxygen and water in. To aerate the lawn, we have special equipment that pokes holes in the lawn. Once the lawn is aerated, we seed the lawn to ensure it grows back healthy and strong. Aeration costs between $100 – 200, depending on the size of your yard.

Overseeding

If you want a thicker lawn, we can help by overseeding it. We plant seeds directly into the existing turf. Using a special machine that buries them ⅛ of an inch into the ground, we ensure that the seeds are kept moist, increasing their germination rate.

This moisture conserves water by decreasing the amount of watering your lawn needs. This also cuts down on the amount of top dressing, like hay, that needs to be used. Overseeding costs between $300 – 600.

Spring & Fall Clean-up

With the changing seasons comes more tasks to be done to keep your lawn looking its best. In the fall, we rake and blow leaves. In the spring, we sweep and dethatch your yard before performing other lawn care tasks. These tasks start at $40 per hour plus equipment charges for all power tools, which range from $7 – 40 per hour, depending on which tools are needed. Dethatching can run about $100 – 200, depending on the condition of the lawn.

Roof Raking & Shoveling

Maine is known for its long, snowy winters. This snow can collect on your roof and cause structural damage to your home. We can help prevent this by roof raking or shoveling after every snowstorm. Depending on how much snow there is, we can shovel your roof or rake the snow off with our special roof rake. The average roof snow removal costs around $300.

Pricing

Please note that all work is done by the hour. Our winter and fall rate is $40 an hour, plus a charge for power equipment ranging from $7-40 per hour. Our spring and summer rate is an additional $20 per hour. Please contact us for an estimate on your specific project.
